WHO CAN INVEST WITH HEARTLAND METHODIST FINANCIAL?

Individuals, at least 18-years old, who are affiliated with Wesleyan-based churches and reside in the following states may make deposits:

• Indiana
• Illinois
• Kentucky
• Hawaii
• Florida
• Michigan
• Texas
• North Carolina

WHAT DOES “AFFILIATED WITH WESLEYAN-BASED CHURCHES” MEAN?

A Wesleyan-based church belongs to a denomination that embraces Wesleyan theology. There are several denominations that would be included in this group such as United Methodist (UMC), Global Methodist (GMC), and American Episcopal Methodist (AME) churches to name a few. An “Affiliate” would be:

• A member, constituent, contributor, or participant of the church.

• An employee of the church or denomination.

• A spouse, parent, child, or grandchild of a member, constituent, contributor, participant, or employee of such
church or denomination

• Wesleyan-based churches and agencies.

DEPOSIT TYPES

The following options are available to make an investment with Heartland Methodist Financial:

Demand Account — You can open a demand account with as little as $25, and you can make withdrawals at any time.
Prior to May 1, 2023, we referred to these accounts as Savings Accounts.

Certificates of Participation — With a minimum of $1,000, you can open a Certificate of Participation. Early withdrawal
does initiate a penalty. 6, 9, or 18-month or 1, 3, or 5-year investment terms are available.

IRA Investments — You can make an IRA investment in a demand account or in three-year Certificate of Participation

To open an account, please follow these instructions:
1. Read the offering circular – 2023 Offering Circular
2. Fill out either a Certificate of Participation or a Demand Account application form.

3. Mail your completed application, along with a check for your investment, to:
